Submit YOUR reports!

Not only will I be posting entries/reports that I come across myself (sometimes more than once a day) You too can do your part, and submit shops that YOU think are also being a-holes.
How?  you can comment to me on this page, OR  to further investigate a shop or email me direct at BringdownResellers@gmail.com.After I review submissions I will list reports as they come in. If you don’t have a shop to report, you can just stick around, and discuss the shops that were called out and also REPORT shops.
Please note:
As you submit shops for me and others to view, I will try my best to place every allegation up as quickly as possible as main entry on the blog.

Ugh! The shitty thing about shitty dishonest sellers

Is when they "forget" to send and/or take their dead-ass time on sending  your damn items!!  Out of 13 plus packages now, all bought in the same week I'm only STILL waiting on  two, and it's urking the shit out of me because I know two of the sellers are liars.
First order was bought on  April 27th!!. So this is now going on a month and a half & still no package! The other one I am  waiting since May7th. I'm actually considering contacting Heartsy for a refund, because I'll get no where with the sellers.  What tipped me off to dishonesty is how they're both so causal about it.  And of course neither of them can't tell the truth, and admit they got too in over their head with Heartsy orders; and either forgot about mine (and I'm sure others!) or just didn't think of it being a big deal that by the time we get our packages that  it would be at the 2 months mark. There's just no excuse for it!~

What I don't get with the one seller who blamed someone else for "losing" her packages; is why she waited until I contacted HER to inquire about my package to tell me about it?!. So yeah, I'm pissed. I don't believe her for second.  I honestly think she thought she would be able to delay shipping my package  because she thought ALL of Canada's postal service[s] was on strike! ;) It's NOT! MY province may not even get hit with it. So that excuse wouldn't have worked! and I think they were both surprised by me contacting them.

I don't know if I should leave negative feedback OR obey my dad and do the "if you don't  have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all" thing.  But I think I'll go with negative fb. This is just absoluteness ridiculous. Just because I got a discount on items, I don't expect to be treated any different than any other buyer/customer! Well all this being said. I will NOT be returning to their shops. Their loss not mine.
There's plenty more sellers on Etsy who deserve my money and at FULL price. At least when I pay with full price I get the items I ordered AND on damn time.

I love this site too! (Craft Count)

Great site to show you who is who on etsy and where they rank!

A website brought to from the Etsy by Numbers blog, which will be of interest to sellers on Etsy or people thinking about selling on Etsy BUT it's always super tool for us buyers!  It uses the number of units sold over the complete lifetime of the store, Craft Count lists the top selling Etsy stores. The site tracks the top 100 sellers with over 1000 sales in each category.
This information can be viewed in three ways:
  • Summary - as a summary of top selling Etsy stores overall, within handmade, supplies and vintage.
  • Country - top selling Etsy stores broken down by country.
  • Category - top selling Etsy stores broken down by Etsy category.
This information is publicly available from the Etsy website, however what Craft Count does is to pull the information together in an easy to access format using the Etsy API. Craft Count is not affiliated to Etsy.

Interesting Insight
Information can be found on the Craft Count information page about how Etsy sellers can go about changing their information, for instance changing the category that they are listed in. Sellers can also ask for their stores to be excluded from the figures.

What research tools do you use for business. Do you use tools such as Craft Count or do you have other methods for researching the market?

I spent a night in the ER a couple of days ago as well for stones, and dehydration! Anyhow. I hope for those of you or do read my blog, are happy to see me back with some posts on re-sellings dick slaps. Pardon my French.

Weapons/Knives on Etsy

I find it pretty funny that Etsy Admin doesn't allow "call out threads" and resellers, but they condone weapons to be sold on their site! eBay even has a strict knife/weapon rule. Why can't a "peaceful" and happyhappyjoyjoy site like Etsy cannot?

Look at this craziness! There's a lot of sellers selling the mentioned items but here's only a couple of shops I noticed recently. A lot of these items can cause some serious harm! Teenagers can even access Etsy. NOT good, IMO.
First up. MBarkRanch

Up next..Knifexpert

How about a nice bow and arrow?!
Get one at OldSchoolTools

They also have a SHIT load of knives..
